RBs formally known as Rosies is Chesters only night club that has 3 floors. Each floor has a differnt style of music to fit everyones taste, the bottom floor is a reflex club that plays 80's music, the middle floor is usually dance, trance, hip-hop, indy and popular music. The top floor can be either hip-hop on a Sunday, rock and metal on a Wednesday and a mixture of hip-hop and dance and pop on other days.
The club offers many drinks for you to choose from including alcopops and bottles of beer for £1.50 each, cocktails for cheap prices and other drinks on offer every night.
There are 3 dance floors, 2 chill rooms, 6 bars, 3 dj booths and a very lively atmosphere. If you want the full chester clubbing experience then this is the place for you.

was having a good nyte untill we came up to rosies and was refused entry because i was wearing rockports which is the most normal shoewear to have 2 b honest fink it was the nob ed of a bouncer that he cudnt afford such expensive shoes thats why he refused me even tho the other bouncer was gunna let me in dissapointed but ahhhh well try agen with a different type of shoewear maybe rockfords hahahaha

But on a Tuesday night I was out for my best friends birthday and wasnt drinking, and I went to the bouncer showed my ID and then another bouncer said dont let her in! and i got told not to go in tonight.
I said why? I haven't been drinking or anything!
And they said I'm too lively!
I was really annoyed about that because I just wanted to celebrate my friends birthday! They might aswell put a sign up saying "if you have a big personality or are enthusiatic you are not allowed in" FFS get a life!!

IM APPAULED AT THIS NYT CLUB I WAS REFUSED ENTRY BECAUSE THE CUNT CALLED "name removed" ON THE DOOR HAS A PERSONEL VENDETA AGAINST ME FROM WORKING IN MY HOME TOWN ON THE DOOR WHICH HE WAS CHUCKED OFF FOR BEIN A TWAT TO EVERY ONE.LAST TIME WENT TO ROSIES HE WERENT ON DOOR AND IT WERE GOOD BUT THIS TIME RUINED WHAT WAS A GOOD NYT IN CHESTER. ROSIES GET RID OF HIM HE WILL GIVE THE CLUB A BAD NAME LIKE HE DID REFLEX AT MY HOME TOWN.
You lot keep repeating bout the 'sted head bouncers' and firing insults about, but it's the same everywhere, just have to get used to it no point moaning. I don't remember much from last night, but I didn't get IDed so thats a good start. But £8 to get in is quite extortionate. Then £3.80 for a bottle of WKD Core, bit overpriced! Good music, no trouble and the only sick I saw was my mate throwing up continuously at the bar, good times! Ps: Loved the hot dog stand even tho I had maccys instead haha
Its not just lads, theres a group of hot girls i know who hav trouble getting in & have even bin threatened if they do anyfing out of order in the club the bouncers will get banned them from everywhere in chester. cruise all the way boys and girls
i think two stars is an accurate rating. the prices are high, but sometimes they do have good offers on.
I think that half the people who say the place is "amazing" have some sort of affiliation with the place.
Also everyone who says theyve never had any trouble with bouncers.....read the other posts, youll soon notice that your all females who never get any trouble, thats because the steroid induced sex cravings mean the bouncers are bound to let you in and have a smile and a giggle with you in hope of getting their ends away.
Ive had many a good night here, but ill only go there as a last resort, as theres always a good chance that the bouncers silly KB excuses will ruin somones birthday or a good night out.
Ive also found cruise had the same reception on the door, they must send all their doors taff for their SIA licenses at the same times (.")
The place is absolutely wicked, and the RnB floor plays the smartest blend of Rnb i`ve ever heard, especially on thursdays and sundays

People do occasionally have problems with the bouncers but they usually turn down the people who think will cause trouble or won't suit the place.
Overall most people enjoy it there so what they're doing must work.
I personally think its an awesome night out..i moved here last august from south africa and can honestly say even with my foreign ID i have NEVER EVER been refused in! I love it there music is really good drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is amazing!!! cruise is really expensive in my opinion and refuse to pay £10 for a small lil drink that you get 2 sips out of! am going there this friday and i caaant wait! bouncers have always been really really friendly with me and last year let me and my friends jump the que on my bday...and made me sing the south african anthem was a good laugh!! hot dogs are really really good!! bathrooms arent that clean though tbh..and quite disgusting but i dont spend my night in there like iv seen some girls do...overall i think its well worth it! i like cruise as well only down fall is that its 21+ over weekends..which i think they should change and would probably get alot more customers in their doors as well.
Cruise is full of stuck up twats and all the chavs. Rosies is a beast of a place, with the best people and nights out. As for the bouncers i've never had a problem with them and none of my lad mates have either.

The Reflex club is now a Babylon 90s club, this is well worth going to if you are aged anything between 20-35 or so, some great 90s tunes.
Also, with the 90s not being too long ago, it's not infested with the horny middle-aged, a problem with any Reflex club lol!
Can't say I've ever had any problems with the bouncers at RBs, the whole complex gets busy at weekends!
absolutely shocking. It used to be really good when it was rosies a quality night out. Now we cant get in simply cos we have more of a penis that the stupid sted head bouncers. Putting a formal complaint in to the SIA and RBs not having it tbh. Big group of 20 of us, all the girls got in, all the lads got KBd even tho we all had ID (im 21 FFS!!!). Pathetic.

rb's is a great place to go out. its much better than cruise and brannigans. the bouncers are usual ok on mon-wed but on a thursday when i went the bouncers just said go somewhere else tonight guys, with no explaination. However apart from the bouncers its amazing the music is great and u can have a really good time when ur in there. the drinks are cheeper mon-thurs but over the weekend they are more expensive, but everywhere is just as expensive as they are on the weekend. another bad thing is that toilets always stink and aren't looked after very well mayb they should hire a toiletroom attendant. Apart that and the bouncers it is far better than any of the other clubs in chester.

Usually a good night. Bouncers seem to be bi-polar, lovely and polite some nights, arrogant, miserable gits on others. Lovely bar staff though.
RB's is hit and miss on being a good night. The doormen are very arkward with ID, every single person through the door regardless of age is ID'd which I can understand, but people getting knocked back even though they have ID is ridiculous. In this area it is similar to the door restrictions at cruise.
Inside is far too hot, sweaty and dingy, with the smell from the hotdog stand on the stairs wafting in making it even worse. RB's gets extremely busy, if not too busy, and there are very big ques to get in, to get served at the bar, to smoke and to use the toliets.
Expensive on entry for what the club offers really. Drinks inside aren't much better, exept on thursdays where you can get a bottle for 1.50.
RB's can be a good night out, can be an awful one, but the main problem is the bouncers! Arkward and stubborn, they often refuse people entry due to where they live as it says on driving licenses. Often they make the excuses of "its 21's only tonight" or "you need a ticket" or "ladies only" or whatever bullshit they can think up.
The doorstaff both here and cruise let down chesters night scene and ruin the atmosphere
i would just like to say how i had a fantastic evening in the club on friday , all bouncers were very plesant both female and male , the only down side is the hike to the roof terrace for those that smoke , but this is a minor thing , drinks 150 each fantastic , will be going again :-)
Nobody goes here any more, and the owners only have themselves to blame.
Admission is by no other criteria than whether or not the bouncers feel like it. Dress code, level of intoxication etc is applied inconsistently, to say the least. They often ask you for ID, and when you produce it say "Well you're still not coming in"
If you leave your coat there by accident, they don't let you back in to get it. When you phone up the next day to request the coat back, they charge you £5 for it.
A low class place to steer clear of.

The doormen in cruise are so nice, they looked after my mate amazingly when she was a nightmare drunkard the other week. there's even a lovely lady bouncer....so nice to be looked after by a girl! CRUISE TOP. ROSIES PIT OF DOOM.

Its not the first choice i like to go to in chester! I prefer the much clean and updated club 'Cruise' but its a pain being 18 as they dont let you in there hardly on the weekend saying its 21's.
Rosies is ok i supose, bouncers need to ease up alot with letting people in! even with ID, they let me and my boyfriend in but none of our mates who were right behind us.
I get short changed alot at the bar n then shout at them for my change but they just walk off n serve someone else.
Other than those things above i do have a good night there once the drinks are down me and lots of people i know are out.

This place is a complete joke, the bar men spend more time throwing your drink around than they do serving. bar flaring is so fucking dated. it's something only a complete twat would spare his time practacing. it takes a very long time to perfect. heres an idea lads why dont you spend more time learnign how to work effiecently behind a busy bar, then peole might not think of you as such losers. the thing is you really are losers though and unfortunately the world is populsted with a shit load more just like you. please will you all die of aids very soon. thats for the manager, bar staff and especially the door men. A total shambles, you have to queue 4 hours to gain entrnace and gettin in is always a gamble ...as it depends on the how the bouncers & door staff are feeling that night wether u have identification or not .
Later , you have to Q to pay ( which is too expensive for what the club has to offer) the Q to put your coat in the cloakroom , Q to buy a drink , Q to go to the toilet, Q to go outside for a cigarette, and Q to use the cashpoint in there ( which charges apply )
The Bouncers are rude , pushy, and totally up there own arses . bouncers everywhere else ive been have always been polite and welcoming not Rb's/Reflex bouncers. Theyre the most arrogant people ive ever came accross

RB's is one of the best clubs in the northwest, ive never had an off night there and certainly when it comes to bouncers. On two occasions i have needed there assistance and on both, they have gone firther to help me than most doorman in the country. No one if there honest gets chucked out for no reason and we all forget they are there to protect us and i for one am very glad they are there. give it a go, well worth it...
Been there on many occasions on a Saturday night and been told by the bouncers "sorry lads its memebers night" and insist for tickets, but i know for a fact its not, because i already have friends (females) in there that had no problem getting in. the bouncers realy are a discrace!
